Our History

Mr. Price, an industry expert in Automated Data Collection (ADC) technology, having worked for companies such as NCR, Lowry Computer Products, and Data Recognition saw an opportunity for a customer service oriented company that could build, deploy, and support ADC solutions.

AccuCode was founded to fulfill the goal of being a best-of-breed solution provider for ADC technology and services. The company quickly gained customer and partner recognition for quality and expertise and the dedication to go the extra mile to ensure that the technology meets the customer's business needs.

In 1999 Mr. Price foresaw the approaching convergence of wireless networking, mobile computing, ADC and standards-based software technologies. Recognizing the need for a software company that understood the complexities of real-time computing enabled by automated data collection, the AccuCode Enterprise Software Division was formed.

Customer's recognized the value of a company that has these diverse skills. In 2000 Kroger Corporation selected AccuCode to build King Soopers internet-based e-commerce system. The system, named HomeShop, provides a sophisticated turnkey click-n-mortar ordering, fulfillment and delivery business process.

AccuCode has been repeatedly recognized not only for its thought leadership, but as a highly successful and well managed company. Inc Magazine awarded AccuCode the prestigious Inc 500 award in 2002 to recognize over 1356% revenue growth over the last 5 years.

In 2003 and 2005 AccuCode received the Deloitte and Touche Fast 50 award as one of the fasted growing companies in Colorado, Mr. Price was a finalist for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year in 2002. AccuCode has also been recognized three times by ColoradoBiz Magazine as one largest privately held companies in Colorado.

Continuing its history of growth, in 2003 AccuCode launched its award winning MailTracker application that today has 11 major global airlines as daily users. From it application and product development efforts AccuCode has created a Java based application framework that has radically reduced the time necessary to bring new business process automation applications to market. In 2006, using this framework as the foundation, AccuCode will launch a string of new hosted business applications for inventory management, in-transit visibility and retail workflow automation.

AccuCode's success can be attributed to the dedication and quality of our employees combined with our founding mission of providing superior service and best-of-breed technology that solves our customers' business needs.
