DENVER – (Aug. 1, 2006) – AccuCode Inc., a software developer, integrator and value added reseller specializing in the application of mobile computing and automated data collection (bar code and RFID) technologies, has joined the Retail Broadband Alliance, a forum that makes it easy for migrating to broadband networks to increase revenue, cut expenses, and improve customer experience.
A 10-year veteran in the mobile computing industry, a solution-oriented software developer, and a source of automated data collection, AccuCode has a set of web-hosted applications for tracking business mail and inventory. AccuCode solutions eliminates the need to download and manage software at individual locations. Private broadband networks and high-speed connections enable the applications to perform at optimal levels.

“AccuCode sees tremendous opportunity to cross-pollinate our wireless networking, mobile computing and automated data collection offerings with the talents and technologies of the other Retail Broadband Alliance members and New Edge Network’s unique Public/Private network offerings,” said Kevin Price, CEO and founder of AccuCode.

“Any retailer that is paying attention to their competition understands that they need to find a way to use technology to achieve a fundamental competitive advantage in the market place,” Price said.  “The offerings and expertise available through the RBA is a great place to start looking for that advantage.”

The Retail Broadband Alliance brings together companies that represent products and services used in the entire retail sales supply chain for data networks.  The Retail Broadband Alliance now includes about 200 member companies.  Retail merchants pick and choose the providers they want.

“New Edge Networks welcomes AccuCode into the growing Retail Broadband Alliance,” said Greg Griffiths, vice president of marketing for New Edge Networks.  “AccuCode represents yet another trusted choice for merchants who turn to the Retail Broadband Alliance for support in migrating to broadband.”
